Mr. Platt graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Business in 1991 and has 24 years of real estate experience in property tax consulting, investment brokerage and appraisal. In 1991, Mr. Platt joined Cushman & Wakefield's Valuation & Advisory Group and has been one of the top producers in the Orange County office for the past 20 years.

Experience includes appraisal/underwriting and sale of the following property types: regional malls, apartment buildings, residential subdivisions, shopping centers, vacant land, hotels, industrial warehouses, department stores, industrial parks, auto sales facilities, condominium complexes, mixed-use developments, and special purpose properties.

 

Since 1991, Mr. Platt has been involved in a wide variety of commercial real estate solutions spanning two full commercial real estate cycles. His experience includes valuation of complex property types, partial/fractional interests, debt and equity positions, valuation and disposition of commercial real estate portfolios, all classes of office buildings, apartment communities, retail centers, department stores, hotel properties, mixed-use properties, malls, land, distribution centers, industrial parks, and other special purpose properties. He has negotiated purchase and sale contracts, leaseback agreements, portfolio sale agreements, and various letters of intent for purchase/sale transactions. Mr. Platt has been qualified as an expert witness in various state and local courts and has given testimony in court as well as in a deposition setting.
