Bio
Larry Wilemon, Director, brings over 15 years of commercial real estate experience to Walker & Dunlop. Based in Los Angeles, he is part of Walker & Dunlop’s new initiative focused on middle market multifamily lending. Mr. Wilemon is responsible for driving the growth of the company’s small balance GSE and bridge loan origination, with a focus on Southern California and secondary and tertiary markets in the West, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Wilemon worked at Hunt Mortgage Group. At Hunt, he was responsible for the origination of small balance and conventional agency and bridge loans for multifamily properties. Mr. Wilemon previously held positions including Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners and Senior Vice President at George Smith Partners. He has extensive experience sourcing loans through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Mr. Wilemon attended the University of Richmond, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics.
He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a Juris Doctorate from The University of Texas School of Law.
