Bio
Mr. Golinsky is a principal and co-founder of Eightfold Real Estate Capital. He has more than 40 years of diverse real estate experience including investing, development, property operations, finance, asset management, and loan restructuring. Prior to forming Eightfold, Mr. Golinsky was employed by LNR Partners, the Real Estate Finance and Servicing Group of LNR Property. Most recently, he served as Division President, where his primary responsibilities involved oversight of the day-to-day operations of 280 associates engaged in special servicing, as well as participation in the Division's debt and securities investment activities. Prior to becoming Division President, Mr. Golinsky served as Director of Loan Asset Management, responsible for resolving both lender consents and defaulted loans. He has been involved in many notable workouts, including the GGP bankruptcy (loans with face amounts totaling $4B secured by multiple malls in the U.S.); ARC Mobile Home Portfolio ($1.5B loan secured by multiple mobile home parks across the U.S.); 666 Fifth Avenue ($1.2B); Columbia Center ($380MM loan secured by a Seattle office building); and The Source, ($121MM loan secured by a Long Island mall). Additionally, Mr. Golinsky oversaw the acquisition, repositioning and ultimate disposition of two retail properties totaling 700,000 sf. Prior to working at LNR, he was a partner in various real estate development ventures focused primarily on retail, office and land development, including serving as Senior Vice President of Swerdlow Real Estate Group, where he was directly responsible for the development, leasing, construction and financing activities of retail projects comprising more than 2.5 million square feet. Mr. Golinsky received a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate from the University of Colorado. Currently, he is a participating member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC) and Urban Land Institute, Commercial Retail Council (CRC-Blue).
