Bio

Lacey Willard leads the Global Center of Excellence to create a culture around a safe and well experience for CBRE’s people in the workplace, leading to exceptional business outcomes. She works with Health, Safety & Environmental subject matter experts across the world to integrate HSE deeply into CBRE's business, demonstrate the company's strong commitment to its people, and keep safety and wellbeing top of mind. Lacey gives executive oversight to the Global Center of Excellence, convening thought leaders; communicating strategy, standards, and messaging around safety and wellbeing; aligning technology to measure HSE’s impact to risk and productivity; and securing industry recognition.

Lacey brings over eighteen years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, with a law degree and academic focus in real property and corporate-related matters. Prior to leading the Center of Excellence, she served in CBRE’s Client Care group, as a single point of contact to CBRE's institutional and investor clients who own, develop, and transact in commercial real estate. There, she was responsible for comprehensive performance in all CBRE lines of business, including real estate management, project management, brokerage, and investment sales services for a portfolio comprised of office, industrial, and retail properties throughout the U.S. Lacey also led for CBRE the Recovery & Restructuring Services (RRS) in Florida, where she was responsible for the receivership and distressed asset portfolio management program, business development, and client relations efforts. There, she participated in over 100 active receiverships and distressed asset assignments, and executed agreements, developments, leases, PSAs, as well as deeds of sale on behalf of the estates.

Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Willard managed a portfolio of government owned and leased commercial real estate as a Senior Manager and Contracting Officer in the federal public sector with GSA. Key accomplishments included an International Building of the Year Award, published work “Proposing Tips” in Services Magazine, and conscription to FEMA’s ESF7.
