Kristen Morris is the Chief Retail Strategist at Jamestown. She oversees the strategic leasing and merchandising vision for Jamestown’s retail assets. Ms. Morris’ professional perspective is based on over 30 years of industry experience in development, leasing, marketing, data intelligence and place-making for a broad spectrum of retail real estate product types including: urban retail streets and districts, New Urbanism developments, mixed-use developments, traditional malls, lifestyle centers, and grocery-anchored community centers. She blends long-term industry perspective, multi-disciplinary experience, sophisticated data analytics and relevant cultural and community dynamics to arrive at creative strategies for each unique property. During her tenure at Jamestown, Ms. Morris developed both a cutting-edge and comprehensive consumer research platform along with a seamless, web-based leasing marketing platform that hosts Jamestown’s retail portfolio leasing materials. She is the firm’s qualifying real estate broker in Georgia, Florida, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington, D.C., and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, and serves on ULI’s Livable Communities Council. Ms. Morris was a member of Midtown Atlanta’s Design Review Committee from 2014 through 2017. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Georgia State University.
