Kim Bender

As the head of property management, Kim is responsible for Fairfield’s multifamily portfolio of 42,700 units in 31 markets nationally. She also oversees many of the support services for the property management group including strategic operations, marketing and training. Kim joined Fairfield in 2001 as a regional supervisor and has held several key leadership roles at the company. She has more than 30 years of industry experience at both privately held management companies and REITS, as well as managing conventional and affordable apartment communities. Kim began her career in property management at Hall Financial Group, Inc. Subsequently, she worked with National Housing Partnership Incorporated (NHP) and oversaw assets for The NHP Foundation. As a result of the AIMCO purchase of NHP, Kim began supervising AIMCO properties in both Texas and California where she held various management positions. Kim received her education at North Lake College and holds her NCP-E (National Compliance Professional- Executive), CAPS (Certified Apartment Property Supervisor) and a CPM designation with the Institute of Real Estate Management. She also has a Real Estate license in the state of California.
