Ken Birdsong leads the company's Development Services Division, focused on partnering with healthcare developers to create successful, ground-up real estate assets for physician and medical clients. In addition to buying medical properties after project completion, Montecito's services include partnering for capital funding, programmatic development and joint venture development structures.
Birdsong possesses nearly 25 years of experience in healthcare real estate. He has managed the development of a broad range of healthcare projects, overseeing every aspect including feasibility assessment, land acquisition, design and construction management, equity and debt funding, leasing, partnership formation and property management.
Prior to joining Montecito, Birdsong owned and led his own company, Greystone Brokerage and Development, where he and his team provided development, consulting and program management services for healthcare clients. Earlier, he served as Vice President of Development for The Greenfield Group, a company also focused exclusively on healthcare real estate.
Birdsong holds an M.B.A. with concentrations in Finance and Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Florida State University.
