Bio
A well-known leader in the DC retail market, Kelly Silverman is a Senior Vice President CBRE and had been with Streetsense since 2005 prior to a merger with CBRE. Her book of business consists of a curated collection of clients, with a notable focus on the restaurant segment. Her work in Washington, DC has been integral to the development of several thriving food-focused micro-neighborhoods in the city.
Kelly’s expertise and reputation for execution has led her to represent some of the highest profile names in the market, including: Cava Grill, Le Pain Quotidien, Urban Plates, Nandos, Tatte Bakery & Café, Bartaco, Barcelona Wine Bar, Hawkers, The Meatball Shop, Neighborhood Restaurant Group & Black Restaurant Group, to name a handful. She also works with retailers that are actively shaping the communities in which they are located, including Salt & Sundry, Little Leaf, Blush Skinfit, Gym & Tonic, and Zengo Cycle.
On the landlord side, Kelly is known for her ability to strategically assess every opportunity, from massive repositioning efforts — like the one she is currently leading at Market Common Clarendon, and a new ground up Billion dollar plus development at Capitol Crossing, but not to forget one-off high profile properties in the urban core. Regardless of the challenge, Kelly applies her unique fingerprint while letting the identity of the project or purveyor come through. Her work ethic is legendary; her retail strategy is visionary.
