Keith Maehlum

Keith Maehlum serves as Vice President where he is responsible for sourcing and structuring new investment opportunities as well as managing the company’s development projects. He has 30 years of experience as a real estate developer, investor and architect. He has completed a variety of projects including mixed-use walkable communities, multifamily developments, apartment to condo conversions, mixed-use urban infill condominium projects and office campuses. Prior to joining HAL, he led the development of over 30 office, retail and multifamily projects in Kirkland, Washington. Earlier in his career, Keith was a Project Manager with Cabot, Cabot & Forbes and also built and ran his own architecture firm. Keith started his career as an associate with LPN Architects. Keith is active in the local real estate community having served on the Kirkland Downtown Strategic Plan Committee and as a board member for the Bellevue CBD Planning Committee and Kirkland Chamber of Commerce.

Keith earned his Bachelors Degree in Architecture and Environmental Design from the University of Washington.
