Kaya Suarez

Kaya Robert Suarez is a Manager with CBRE Capital Markets in South Florida. Mr. Suarez joined CBRE from Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), where he worked closely with Still Hunter as the Senior Financial Analyst on IPA’s Multifamily Investment team. Prior to joining IPA, Mr. Suarez was responsible for all acquisition and financing analysis at a distressed real estate investment firm based in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida.

Before entering the real estate industry, Mr. Suarez reported directly to the Head of Asset Management Investment Banking as an investment banker with The Bank of Montreal (BMO) in New York City. Before being recruited to join BMO Capital Markets, Mr. Suarez advised traditional and alternative asset managers on a wide range of equity, debt and M&A transactions as a member of UBS Investment Bank’s Financial Institutions Group in New York City. Prior to joining UBS’ Financial Institutions Group, Mr. Suarez originated and syndicated over 50 initial public offerings (IPOs) and follow-on offerings totaling several billion dollars for publicly traded corporations as a member of UBS’ Equity Capital Markets Group.

Kaya received his B.A. from Dartmouth College with a Major in Government and a Minor in Economics.
