Bio
Katie Benefield is the Sales Director of Investor Services for the greater Colorado region. In this role, she is responsible for leading the sales management platform for CBRE’s five Colorado offices as well as driving increased market share and organizational growth for CBRE Capital Markets, Investor Leasing and Retail Services.
Ms. Benefield’s primary focus is growing the business by creating connectivity between CBRE’s market-leading professionals and the firm’s ever-expanding platform of services and tech-driven resources. Her day-to-day responsibilities include collaboration with executive leadership; assistance in talent acquisition, onboarding and training; pursuit identification; business development; multi-market coordination; competitive analysis and strategic team formation.
Prior to spearheading the launch of CBRE’s investor sales management platform in Colorado in 2015, Ms. Benefield served as Capital Markets Operations Manager with CBRE’s Joint Venture and Structured Capital Services. Before joining CBRE, she worked in sales management for Ecolab and in marketing for the investment bank Piper Jaffray, both in Minnesota.
Ms. Benefield holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP and the University of Denver Burns School of Real Estate alumni network.
