As Senior Vice President, Karen leads a team that is responsible for marketing support for all Transwestern service lines, new business development, corporate communications, advertising strategy and marketing campaigns for the firm’s Central Texas region.

Karen also oversees market analytics and research for Transwestern’s Central Texas offices and plays a key role in client relations and regional business development. She collaborates closely with producers and senior leadership to guide the strategic direction and implementation of the firm’s marketing plan, ensures alignment with regional and national initiatives, and delivers commercial real estate market intelligence to clients, team members, and the public.

Karen has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Transwestern, Karen served as the marketing director for CarrAmerica Realty Corporation where she was responsible for coordinating the marketing and deal tracking for CarrAmerica’s assets in the Midwest Region - including Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver and Salt Lake City - totaling approximately 9 million square feet of commercial office space. Karen previously served as the leasing coordinator for Prentiss Properties, assisting with the marketing and lease administration for its Austin assets including the development of the 850,000 square foot Barton Skyway office project in Southwest Austin.  Prior to her position at Prentiss Properties, Karen served as the office manager for Blake Realty Advisors Inc., a boutique tenant representation brokerage in Austin.
