Bio
Justin Schuss is a founding Principal at Avo Capital Partners. Justin is involved in all aspects of the firm’s initiatives and operations, with primary responsibilities including investment strategy, capital markets, joint-venture negotiations, investor relations, and asset management.
Prior to forming Avo with Todd in 2019, Justin co-led and managed existing investments and new real estate pursuits for a family office with a primary focus on the investment and development of multifamily assets across the country. Justin has led or helped oversee investments in 65+ real estate transactions, including 50+ housing communities (7,500+ apartment units), 2 industrial warehouses, and 5 hotels. Justin has experience underwriting and investing in several prop tech and innovative operating companies focused on enhancing real estate properties.
Prior to his role with the family office, Justin worked in various roles throughout the real estate industry, including CRE investment sales, and co-founded a NYC-focused apartment rental search engine.
Justin graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Public & Environmental Affairs and a minor in Economics.
