Justin Ownby

Justin Ownby joined Berkadia 2011 and is now a Senior Director in Berkadia's Tampa, Florida office. Justin graduated from the University of Florida in 2005 and earned his MBA from the University of Tampa in 2019. Justin is known for his knowledge across multiple asset types with a focus on multi-family and hospitality.Justin's focus is on the Southeast of Florida over to Texas; targeting middle market owner operators in the multi-family space. He also has experience in existing and ground-up development of limited service hospitality, providing debt and equity for acquisition, refinancing, and development opportunities.Prior to joining Berkadia, he was a senior associate with Tavernier Capital Partners. From 2006 to 2008 he was a vice president at LaSalle Bank in Chicago where he was part of their real estate capital markets team. Justin resides in Tampa with his wife Alyssa.
