Josh Mintzer

Josh is responsible for overseeing design, development, and construction operations for the company’s new development and value-added opportunities as well as overseeing ongoing capital improvements to the company’s existing portfolio. Prior to joining Atlas, Josh was a Development Manager at AJ Capital Partners, a real estate owner and developer focused on hospitality, multifamily, and mixed-use property types. In this role, Josh was responsible helping the company expand the Graduate Hotels platform five times by delivering over 1,000 keys across the country as well as overseeing development and construction of assets under other verticals.

Prior to joining AJ Capital, Josh served as an Assistant Engineer and Superintendent at Turner Construction Company, where he managed the day-to-day construction activities for clients in multiple industries. Josh received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Following his interest in sustainable building, Josh is also a LEED AP.

Josh loves nothing more than getting outdoors to visit a U.S. National Park (which he plans to visit all of them), Chicago Cubs baseball, golf, and spending time with his wife, Melanie, and their puppy, Muffin.
