Josh Heiney

Josh is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of Comunale, focusing on management oversight, lease renewals, and tenant improvements for its existing commercial real estate portfolio. In addition, Josh plays a critical role in the underwriting and execution of commercial real estate acquisition, development, and financing projects.

Prior to joining Comunale Properties, Mr. Heiney was employed by HVS Capital Corp for nearly 11 years, most recently as Vice President in the capital markets group. During his tenure at HVS Capital Corp, Mr. Heiney played an active role in the execution of nearly $2 billion of debt and equity transactions, collateralized by hotels and resorts located throughout the Americas. In addition, the capital advisory services group of HVS Capital Corp utilized Josh’s expertise in servicing the unique advisory needs of both public and private clients such as the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, CW Capital, Denver International Airport Authority, Sam Zell’s Equity Group Investments, Ty Warner Hotels & Resorts, and Nationwide Insurance Company.

Josh began his professional career with D.C. General Services, a local Denver-based general contractor, whereby he assisted with project planning, bidding, demolition/refurbishment and new construction of commercial, medical, and dental office space throughout the Denver metropolitan area.

Josh received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Denver, with a dual major in Finance and Real Estate.
