Josephine Savastano

As our Chief Lending Officer for New York and New Jersey, Josephine is a key leader that’s helping to build communities through providing local businesses with the right guidance and solutions.

Josephine joined Valley in 2018 after spending the five years as a team leader in Wells Fargo’s New York Commercial Bank. Prior to that she held leadership positions over the last 25 years at Sovereign/Santander, Citibank and European American Bank. In her role, she is responsible for all C&I business in New York and New Jersey, including specialty businesses and Community Banking for New York and New Jersey.
