Joe Schlosser

Joe Schlosser joined Phillips Edison in 2004 as a Financial Analyst and underwriter. In 2005 he became a Leasing Agent and was promoted to Director of Leasing in 2007. In 2010, Joe started and managed Phillips Edison’s 3rd Party Management Department and led a team providing real estate services to external property owners. In 2012, he joined the Phillips Edison Grocery REIT team where he currently serves on the non-traded REIT’s investment committee for new acquisitions. In addition, Joe leads our Portfolio Management team which oversees the company’s national portfolio.

Prior to joining Phillips Edison, Joe gained extensive experience providing construction management services on commercial projects including grocery-anchored shopping centers.

Joe is a founding member of the Cincinnati Golfers for Charity group and is active with Crossroads Community Church and ICSC.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in real estate at the University of Cincinnati.

Do the Right Thing – “We do the right thing even if it isn’t always the easy thing. Why? Doing the “wrong” thing always leads to more difficulty and hardship in the long run. And any type of “success” accomplished the “wrong” way will be less meaningful and much more fleeting.
