Jonathan Schurgin

Jonathan Schurgin oversees all acquisition, capital raising, investor relationships and financing for Festival’s existing portfolio and new business ventures, while developing and executing the company’s investment strategy and growth. He brings more than 20 years of experience to his role.

Prior to joining The Festival Companies, Jonathan served as Head of Originations and Senior Managing Director at Cantor Commercial Real Estate, directly overseeing its four West Coast offices for nearly 10 years. Starting at Credit Suisse and onto UBS, throughout his career, Jonathan has originated nearly $20B in commercial debt and equity transactions.

Jonathan has served on the board of The Festival Companies for 15 years before joining Festival as Chief Investment Officer in 2020. Jonathan received a BA from Vassar College. He is an active real estate finance industry speaker and is involved in several art and ocean conservation charities.
