Bio
Mr. Pong oversees the company’s capital markets, financial planning and analysis, investor relations and lease administration functions. In these roles, he leads the strategy and execution of equity and debt offerings and hedging activities, oversight of the company’s financial forecast, and maintains ongoing dialogue with investment bankers, commercial bankers, rating agencies, debt and equity research analysts and investors.
Background
Mr. Pong joined Realty Income in 2014, was promoted to Vice President, Head of Capital Markets and Investor Relations in 2015, and to his current role in 2018. Before joining Realty Income, Mr. Pong was a Vice President in Equity Research at Robert W. Baird, most recently as the lead analyst covering the Net Lease and Shopping Center sectors. He previously covered the Lodging sector, also with Baird. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche LLP in the Audit & Assurance practice covering engagements in the real estate, financial services and software sectors. He also worked in the Financial Planning & Analysis group at DemandTec (currently IBM DemandTec), a provider of analytics software for retailers.
Mr. Pong graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He earned his MBA from the SC Johnson School of Management at Cornell University.
He is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.
