Jonathan Kaplan

Mr. Kaplan is a Partner and General Counsel. Mr. Kaplan supervises all legal matters for Canyon Partners, LLC and, together with Canyon's CFO, oversees Canyon's daily business activities. Prior to joining Canyon in 2007, Mr. Kaplan was a partner at Sidley Austin LLP. Mr. Kaplan practiced at Sidley from 1997-2007 as a corporate transactional attorney, representing primarily investment funds, including Canyon and a number of other investment advisors. Mr. Kaplan is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego (B.A., Political Science) and New York University School of Law (J.D.). Mr. Kaplan is a member of the State Bar of California.
