Jon Wood

Mr. Wood leads Legacy’s Southeast U.S. operation and is responsible for growing the company’s regional presence through site selection, market and financial analyses, due diligence, product design, entitlements, permits, financing, construction, property and asset management, risk management, and strategic planning.

Prior to joining Legacy, Mr. Wood was the Southeast Managing Director of Development for Hines and the East Coast Division Partner for The Morgan Group. He has also held multifamily development positions at Archstone in Washington, D.C. and Trammel Crow Residential in Florida.

Mr. Wood is an active member of the National Multi Housing Council, Urban Land Institute, and University of Florida Friends and Alumni of Real Estate. He also served as a Director on the University of Florida Real Estate Advisory Board.

Mr. Wood has an MBA from the University of Florida, with concentrations in Real Estate, Finance and Entrepreneurship, where he took first place in the program's Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition.
