Bio

Jonathan began his career at Engel Burman working in the field and on job sites, providing him invaluable hands-on experience across a vast array of construction types. Jonathan has focused on all aspects of the construction cycle, developing a wide range of knowledge and expertise. While gleaning valuable insights over decades and developing an understanding of the fine details of the building trade, Jonathan has honed his skills, ultimately mastering field management, as well as the overall operations of EB Construction, for which he is responsible today. Jonathan has been instrumental in the growth of EB Construction, meticulously building an in-house team of seasoned and skilled professionals and leading them to a myriad of successes. His decisiveness and foresight are crucial to maintaining productivity in both new construction and rehabilitation projects. With nearly half a billion dollars in active projects under his management, Jonathan consistently delivers on time and on budget, managing costs while also meeting or exceeding expectations when it comes to delivering quality products. Jonathan is an active member of the community involved in many organizations, such as Builder Director of the Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI) and an Officer and Director of Long Island Home Builders Care (LIHBC). For LIHBC, Jonathan has taken the lead on fundraising events, served on the annual Charitable Walk committee, chaired the annual golf outing, and directed special projects, such as renovating Long Island homes for families in need. Cycle for Survival, which supports rare cancer research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, is particularly close to Jonathan’s heart. He actively supports the charity and has been instrumental in its fundraising. Jonathan earned his BA in Regional Development and Business Management from the University of Arizona.
