John Sweet

John joined SCP in 2012. As Chief Investment Officer he oversees all joint venture and lending relationships as well as acquisitions, dispositions and development strategies. He is actively involved in the capital structure and transactional decision-making for each of the firm’s existing assets. Previously, John worked with LaSalle Investment Management where he handled investment, financing, portfolio management and disposition activities for more than $1.2 billion in institutional real estate assets. This included work on a series of value-add, private equity funds. John is a University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate. He is an active member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association and supports NAIOP of Central Indiana as a board director where he previously served as Board President.
