Bio
John Prete is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group at Blackstone. Mr. Prete was involved in Blackstone’s initial investments in the Affordable Housing, Manufactured Housing, Student Housing, and Self Storage sectors. Mr. Prete currently focuses on Blackstone’s US Affordable Housing investments, including April Housing.
Before joining Blackstone in 2017, Mr. Prete was a Portfolio Manager at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority focused on US real estate acquisitions. Prior to joining ADIA, Mr. Prete was involved in originating real estate investments at Pacific Coast Capital Partners, a private real estate fund manager. Mr. Prete began his real estate career at Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners.
Mr. Prete received a BS cum laude, from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management.
