John Myers

As Managing Partner, Mr. Myers is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the companies day to day operations, including deal origination, underwriting and managing the deal flow from inception to closing.

With over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate financing sector Mr. Myers has extensive experience in credit risk, structured finance, preferred equity, mezzanine financing, real estate acquisitions, asset management, loan origination, underwriting, asset valuation, construction rehabilitation, design, and development.

Prior to forming Specialty Mortgage Capital, Mr. Myers served as an investor investing in commercial and multifamily properties. Later entering into the residential and commercial real estate lending market.

Mr. Myers attended school at Norwich University and University of Rhode Island school of engineering for electrical engineering.
