Bio

John Morris, a veteran of 20 years in logistics and supply chain and 33 years overall in executive management, leads CBRE's Industrial & Logistics division as Americas Leader and Executive Managing Director since joining the company in November 2019. Mr. Morris oversees more than 800 CBRE Industrial & Logistics professionals in the Americas who collectively were responsible for more than $55 billion of transactions in 2018.

Under Mr. Morris' guidance, CBRE offers clients a full range of services to help them adapt and expand in rapidly evolving industrial sectors. Those include unrivaled Transaction services from CBRE professionals across the globe as well as an expansive suite of advisory services including Supply Chain Advisory, Industrial Project Management, Location Incentives, Labor Analytics, Property Management, Valuation Services and more. CBRE avails each of these services to Occupier clients through its comprehensive, proprietary process called Intelligent Site Selection.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Morris spent 13 years at Cushman & Wakefield, most recently as Executive Managing Director of Logistics and Industrial in the Americas from 2012 to 2018 and earlier as Senior Managing Director of Global Business Consulting from 2005 to 2012. Prior to that, he spent five years as a Consulting Manager at A.T. Kearney Inc., serving clients on strategic logistics projects. He spent the early half of his career in executive roles in retail and logistics for Volvo Cars of North America, Mazda Motor of America and May Co. Department Stores.

Mr. Morris lives with his family in Northwest Florida and in Chicago, where he enjoys travel, fitness, home projects, basketball, skiing and cycling. He has been active in numerous charitable organizations, including JDRF, PKD Foundation, ALS Foundation, United Way, Children's Hospital of Colorado, and Operation Finally Home.
