Mr. Mikels is an Director in JLL's Carolinas office and a partner on the Office Investment Sales Team, with more than seven years of industry experience. He focuses primarily on office and life science investment sales opportunities throughout the Carolinas, with a concentration on the Raleigh/Durham market. Mr. Mikels has completed more than 110 transactions throughout the region during the course of his career.

Mr. Mikels joined JLL from HFF, after the acquisition by JLL on July 1, 2019. Prior to HFF, John was an Associate at Lincoln Harris, where he specialized in office and retail sales and leasing opportunities throughout North Carolina. In this role, he represented institutions and select developers in the leasing of Class A office buildings, grocery anchored shopping centers, and additional property types. Mr. Mikels has an extensive background in many facets of the commercial real estate landscape, including leasing, underwriting, development, and investment sales.
