In September 2018, CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) acquired CB Richard Ellis-N.E. Partners, L.P. (CBRE/New England), a long-standing joint venture with Whittier Partners Group and the leading full-service commercial real estate services operation in New England.

Mr. McLaughlin currently works as a Vice President with CBRE/New England's Multifamily Investment Sales team. In this position, John facilitates the disposition of existing market-rate and affordable multifamily properties as well as development opportunities.

He is responsible for financial modeling, the preparation of marketing materials, coordinating financial due diligence during the marketing process and various other needs. John has performed underwriting for well over 100,000 multifamily units and facilitated in closing over 85 transactions in excess of $2.5 billion.

Prior to joining CBRE/New England, John worked as a Financial Analyst with Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.'s Capital Markets Group and as an Appraisal Associate with CBRE/New England's Consulting and Valuation Group specializing in multifamily properties throughout the Northeast.
