John Makus

Johnathan Makus is a Senior Vice President and senior partner of the Dallas Multifamily team. Mr. Makus leads client engagements on behalf of investors in the multifamily space and is an expert in individual and portfolio level asset acquisitions and dispositions and has transacted with some of the largest commercial real estate investors in the world.

Mr. Makus joined from Investors Capital Group where he was a partner and spent the last 15 years leading the firm’s acquisition activities. Throughout his career, Johnathan covered markets spanning from the western United States to Texas, with the majority of his acquisitions located in the DFW market.
