Bio

In September 2018, CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) acquired CB Richard Ellis-N.E. Partners, L.P. (CBRE/New England), a long-standing joint venture with Whittier Partners Group and the leading full-service commercial real estate services operation in New England.

John specializes in tenant and landlord advisory practice for CBRE/New England's Consulting Group, representing such firms as The TJX Companies, National Grid, Boston Scientific Corporation, Wayfair, The Boston Consulting Group, Olympus Corporation of Americas, Vertex Pharmaceuticals and IDC/IDC, among others. On the landlord advisory side, John represents institutional clients such as UBS, Invesco Real Estate, TA Realty, TH Real Estate (TIAA), NYL Real Estate Investors, ASB Capital and Stockbridge, to name a few. He is acknowledged as one of the leading commercial real estate advisory experts in Greater Boston.

John was a founding partner of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, which was acquired by Transwestern in 2013. Prior to co-founding RBJ, he was a senior director at Cushman & Wakefield. In 24 years of advising tenants and landlords on their commercial real estate strategies, John has leased and sold in excess of 30 MSF of office, R&D and industrial space. His clients range from start-ups to large public companies.

John has received numerous honors, including being named a CoStar Top Power Broker multiple times.
