Bio
John is a Principal of Ridge and leads the firm’s retail practice, and all investment activities in Utah, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado. John has over 15 years of direct real estate experience in core, value-add, and development strategies on behalf of institutional capital. Most recently, John served as an Executive Director with UBS Realty Investors’ in the role of Senior Transaction Officer. In that role, he had responsibilities for property acquisitions, joint venture formations, and participating loan originations in the Western United States. Over his tenure, he completed 49 transactions spanning all property types and valued at nearly $3 billion. From 2006 to 2010, John asset managed a portfolio of 26 multi-family and commercial property investments on behalf of UBS Realty’s clients. John holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tufts University
