Bio
John Howley joined Newmark in 2016 as an executive managing director at the company's McLean, Virginia, office and has been recognized as a top achiever every year since. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Howley has sold, financed or valued in excess of $200 billion of assets. He has a comprehensive understanding of the secondary debt markets and current capital market conditions throughout the world.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Howley worked for Cushman & Wakefield's Capital Markets Group, where he provided financial advisory services for the acquisition, financing and disposition of commercial and residential assets worldwide. He was consistently one of the firm's top producers and closed some of its largest transactions during his tenure, including several loan portfolio sales valued in excess of $1 billion. Mr. Howley also worked for LaSalle Partners and HSBC Bank.
