John Glines is an Analyst with CBRE’s Corporate Capital Markets group in Detroit, Michigan. As part of a nationally ranked team, John provides analytical and research support to deliver a wide array of bespoke capital markets solutions for corporate occupiers and owners. John is adept in building sophisticated credit and real estate-based models in Argus and Microsoft® Excel inclusive of property cash flows, credit tenant loan schedules, synthetic lease pricing, DCF valuations, mortgage amortization, and construction draw/interest carry schedules. Additionally, John is experienced preparing company credit analyses, marketing materials, and executing due diligence.
Relying on his expertise and CBRE’s collaborative environment, John is unwavering in his efforts to provide best-in-class service to help clients achieve their goals.
Prior to joining CBRE, John worked in commercial real estate lending and syndication with US Bank in Boston. There he executed due diligence, financial analysis, document review, and market research to underwrite new credit opportunities inclusive of revolving lines of credit, term loans, construction loans, and subscription lines of credit. In addition, he managed a loan portfolio across various relationships including REITs, institutional funds, and individual owners/developers.
