Bio

John DiGiovanni is President of Inland Atlantic Development Corp. and is responsible for the identification and facilitation of new development projects along with oversight of the day-to-day development operations.

In 2008 Mr. DiGiovanni was elevated to President and is a Principal in Inland Atlantic Development Corp. Under his leadership the company has developed both retail and multifamily residential. Inland Atlantic began to primarily focus on multifamily development throughout the Southeast in late 2011. Mr. DiGiovanni is focused on site selection, site acquisition and the financing of those developments.

His responsibilities also include maintaining relationships and lease negotiations with national tenants. Mr. DiGiovanni joined Inland Retail Estate Trust, Inc. in 2003 as Senior Vice President of an Inland Retail property management affiliate. In 2004, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of the Inland Retail’s newly created development division. Over the next three years, Mr. DiGiovanni was instrumental in the creation of an approximately 1,000,000 square foot development pipeline. Projects ranged from retail centers, including major tenants, to mixed use developments.

Prior to joining Inland Retail, Mr. DiGiovanni was Senior Vice President of Development for BVT, a German based (Munich) syndication company which raised equity to promote both new development and acquisitions of existing retail/office properties. His team was responsible for developing approximately 500,000 square feet of mixed-use projects throughout the Southeast. In addition to overseeing development projects at BVT, Mr. DiGiovanni helped create and maintain the reporting and tracking protocols for each project, as required by investors and the Board of Directors
