John is a Managing Director in the Phoenix office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He focuses on the sale and joint venture equity procurement for investment-grade multifamily properties throughout the Southwestern United States. He is currently engaged in transactions in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. John joined JLL in 2011 and established the Southwest Multifamily Team, setting a new standard in the market, and completed transactions totaling over $5 billion. As an industry leader, he has deep-rooted relationships with the nation's largest and most active multifamily investors and developers.

John has over 25 years of real estate experience with an emphasis in multifamily acquisitions and development. Prior to joining JLL, he was the Managing Partner of Acquisitions with Alliance Residential Company. During his tenure with Alliance, he structured an institutional investment platform and acquired over $1 billion in multifamily assets throughout the United States through both single asset and portfolio acquisitions.

Preceding his time at Alliance, John was the Acquistions Officer for Camden Property Trust, where he was responsible for real estate transactions of multifamily assets in the western United States. In addition, he was responsible for the strategic management of Camden's western United States office and retail holdings. Prior to Camden, he was also in charge of acquisitions for the southwestern United States for United Dominion Realty Trust, where he was responsible for over $100 million in acquisitions and development of multifamily properties.
