Bio
As co-founder of Bearing Point Properties, John leads and oversees all operations of the company with partner Deane Bryson. Under his leadership, the company has been able to grow its core business activities by focusing on quality service, accountability, and integrity. In 2016, John and his team successfully delivered and stabilized a 168-unit apartment project in Livingston Parish, Louisiana.
Prior to forming Bearing Point Properties, John worked in capital markets and investment management. He managed a family office division and IRA administration team, managing over $500 million in assets, including privately-held commercial real estate.
A graduate of LSU, John is also a designee with the CCIM Institute, and a licensed real estate agent in Louisiana.
As an advocate for his community, John serves as a Board Member of the A.C. Lewis YMCA and on the Committee of the annual YMCA Beyond the Green Golf Tournament.
An avid golfer, movie “quotationist,” and devoted dad, John resides in Baton Rouge with his wife, Kelley, and three amazing children Billy Van, Mary Taylor, Jack Ryan.
