John Bucci

John Bucci is Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of SteepRock Capital. Founded in 2010, SteepRock Capital is a Real Estate Investment firm with a focus on debt. As of June 2019, SteepRock has acquired over $890mm of real estate debt positions and has acquired several hundred million of real estate assets. Prior to SteepRock, Mr. Bucci served as a Director at Petra Capital Management since its founding in 2006. Prior to Petra, Mr. Bucci was a Vice President of Commercial Real Estate at UBS from 2003 to 2006. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Bucci was Vice President of the Principal Transactions Group at Credit Suisse where he originated loans and distributed B-Notes & Mezzanine loans. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University.
