Bio

John Ayoob joined CBRE in 1980 as an office specialist focusing on the Lower Westside and South Bay office market areas. John is recognized as one of the premier advisory and transaction office brokers in the region.

In the past 10 years, John has been involved in leases and sales of over 20,000,000 square feet of office transactions in the South Bay and West Side areas. John has also been effective in advising companies on relocation to the area from other areas in Southern California.

Significant Assignments

 

Pacific Corporate Towers

Among Mr. Ayoob's many successful projects is the strategic renovation of the 1.5 million square foot Pacific Corporate Towers in El Segundo. The project resulted in the leasing of over 750,000 square feet to both new tenants and renewals - taking the project from 70% to 92% leased in less than eighteen months.

Howard Hughes Center 

This project has included underwriting over 750,000 square feet of new office development and pre-leasing over 450,000 square feet.

Continental Grand Plaza II 

Completed in September 1999, this 240,000 square foot building was 100% leased at the then highest rates in El Segundo within 11 months of opening.

2300 E. Imperial Highway 

Represented the buyer in acquiring this 157,000 square foot building, spearheaded a complete renovation and leased the entire building to Boeing and DIRECTV 60 days from completion of the renovation.
