Bio

John Alascio is a Executive Managing Director in the firm's Equity, Debt & Structured Finance group. John is based in both Cushman & Wakefield's Midtown Manhattan and East Rutherford offices, and focuses on debt and equity investments on all property types. John was previously a Senior Vice President at Oberon Securities, a middle market investment bank headquartered in New York City.

 

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, John spent the last 11 years in commercial banking and investment banking, primarily focused on commercial real estate financing. While at Oberon Securities, he was part of the real estate platform for debt and equity and advisory services for institutional clients. Previous to this position, he served as a Director at Lighthouse Business Group, originating, structuring, and underwriting equity and debt for private real estate companies. He also worked for USA Bank in the commercial banking group based in Greenwich, CT.

 

Since joining Cushman & Wakefield, John has successfully closed over 2BB of equity, debt, and mezzanine investments, including negotiating over 1B of Multi-Family Portfolio Transactions for institutional clients.

 

John received a bachelor's degree from Villanova University in Political Science, and additional degrees in Criminology, and Italian. He also completed additional studies at Lorenzo Di Medici in Florence, Italy, the New York Institute of Finance, and the Risk Management Association. John is an active member of the National MS Society, NY Stage & Film, as well commercial real estate affiliations through NAIOP and NMHC.
