Bio

Jim Hoggatt, Director, is based out of Walker & Dunlop’s Jacksonville, Florida office and is responsible for multifamily and commercial loan originations through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, life company, bridge, and CMBS executions. Mr. Hoggatt is well versed in several property types, including but not limited to, multifamily, retail, office, industrial, hospitality, self-storage, and manufactured housing.

 

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Hoggatt served as assistant vice president at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital for four years where he focused on the origination, structuring, and sourcing of debt and equity capital for multifamily and commercial real estate properties. Before Grandbridge, Mr. Hoggatt served as an investment sales broker for three years with Marcus & Millichap in the Jacksonville, Florida, focusing on multifamily and commercial properties throughout Florida and the Southeast.

 

Mr. Hoggatt earned his bachelor’s degree with a double major in real estate and finance from Florida State University. Beyond the company, he is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
