Bio
Jessica Scaperotti is the Chief Communications Officer at Fairstead focusing on the public relations and marketing efforts for the preservation, rehabilitation, and acquisition of affordable and mixed-income housing across the country. Before joining Fairstead, Jessica worked with some of the world’s most prominent real estate firms, including as the Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs at Related Companies where she oversaw public relations efforts for their affordable and global real estate portfolios, as well as the first workforce housing development to be built in New York City since the 1970s. Before working in the private sector, Jessica spent nearly a decade serving as a Press Secretary for New York City and State where she managed the public relations offices for the nation’s largest education and health and human service agencies. She also worked at the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, the agency tasked with overseeing the rebuilding of the World Trade Center Site, creation of a 9/11 memorial, and the overall revitalization of lower Manhattan. Jessica holds a BS in Communications from Northeastern University in Boston.
