Jessica Barton

Jessica is a Principal and Chief Operating Officer for M&C. She oversees Asset Management for M&C’s 8,500+ portfolio. She has an extensive background in commercial real estate lending, finance, underwriting, valuation, and market analysis. Prior to joining M&C, Jessica was with Wells Fargo Commercial Real Estate for nearly 10 years and was responsible for the origination and/or restructuring of over $1 billion in commercial real estate loans (balance sheet and permanent) — with an emphasis on multifamily loans. During her tenure, she was a Vice President and served as the Relationship Manager (on behalf of the bank) for the largest owner and operator of multifamily properties in the United States. Jessica earned a B.S. in Finance with a Minor in Accounting and a Master of Real Estate Development from Clemson University. Away from the office, Jessica enjoys cheering on her Clemson Tigers to another national championship with her husband Peter, traveling extensively, anything outdoors, and spending time with her Old English Sheepdog Winnie.
