Jerry Cammarata

Jerry Cammarata is Atalaya’s Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for managing treasury, fund accounting, operations, tax and financial reporting for the Firm. Prior to joining Atalaya, he was a Vice President with Torchlight Investors (formerly ING Clarion Capital), a $3 billion investment manager focused on mortgage-backed securities, commercial real estate lending, and other structured products. At Torchlight, Jerry was responsible for the accounting, operations, and compliance functions where he built out the internal controls and accounting infrastructure for various private equity and hedge funds, as well as ’40 Act registered funds. He also served as the Chief Compliance Officer reporting to the board of directors of registered investment companies. Jerry began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP where he worked on audit engagements for hedge funds, private equity, and mutual funds of various strategies and sizes. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairfield University and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation from Fairfield University. He is a New York State Certified Public Accountant.
