Bio
Mr. Walker has worked in the real estate industry for over 30 years. Mr. Walker practiced real estate law from 1986 to 2000. Mr. Walker was ultimately a partner with the national law firm Arent Fox where he led the New York City real estate group. Mr. Walker focused on representing institutions in the purchase of large portfolios of distressed loans and real estate assets. After a brief stint at a Goldman Sachs funded real estate technology start-up, Mr. Walker joined the Principal Finance group at Goldman Sachs in 2001. During that time, Mr. Walker concluded numerous distressed debt and real estate acquisitions in the United States and Europe. Between March 2003 and March 2008, Mr. Walker was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise Asset Management, Inc. Enterprise is a privately owned real estate and investment company based in New York City that owns a multi-billion dollar portfolio of real estate and other assets throughout the United States. Mr. Walker obtained his B.A. from Columbia University in 1983 and his J.D. from George Washington University in 1986.
