Jeff Parana is a Principal at Potomac Development Group since our founding in 2010.  He has over 30 years of experience including previous positions as Vice President at Peterson Companies for 16 years, where he served as Project Executive for the development of National Harbor, and also time spent working with TRW, Inc., Haas Architects and E. K. Fox & Associates.  Parana has a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and a Masters in Real Estate from the Johns Hopkins University.

Potomac Development Group (“PDG”) is a full-service real estate development, investment and consulting firm based in Chantilly, VA and operating in the Washington, DC metropolitan region. PDG serves as Development Manager, Owner's Representative, and Construction Manager for select third-party clients and also owns, develops, manages, and leases commercial properties for its own account.

We specialize in mixed-use projects and buildings, where we thoughtfully ‘amenitize’ office and residential properties with retail, restaurant, and entertainment tenants. We also own, property manage, and lease office buildings and Urgent Care Centers.

The four principals of PDG have over 130 years of combined experience, have worked together for over 25 years, and are widely recognized as Washington's Mixed-Use development experts. Our dedicated staff of professionals provides Development Management, Project Management, Construction Management, Property and Asset Management, Land Sales and Acquisitions, Commercial / Retail Leasing, and Consulting.
