By fully understanding his clients' business goals and objectives, Jeff guides them on how best to use their capital as it relates to real estate. He partners with JLL brokers across service lines to comprehensively advise clients on optimal transaction structures, cost-saving opportunities and real estate value creation strategies for owned and leased property portfolios. Jeff provides strategic planning, financial advisory and sophisticated financial capabilities to corporate real estate users ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to nonprofit organizations. He aligns business strategies and financial objectives with real estate occupancy decisions to create shareholder value. Jeff's expertise includes corporate finance, real estate financial analysis, new transaction structuring, existing transaction restructuring, corporate banking, capital markets and advisory services.
Jeff joined JLL in January 2019 and brings over 16 years of experience in real estate and corporate finance. Prior to JLL, he founded Lamplight Capital & Asset Management, which was formed through a leveraged buyout of a distressed real estate portfolio from Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). At Lamplight, Jeff served as Principal/Chief Financial Officer. Before founding Lamplight, Jeff spent 10 years with RBC, where his most recent role was Chief Financial Officer of RBC Real Estate Finance Inc. Jeff was also the CFO of RBC Banks Sales where he was instrumental in managing a balance sheet of $20 billion.
