Jeff Allshouse

Jeff Allshouse serves as a Senior Managing Director and head of the FHA business unit for Newmark's Multifamily Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance group. Based in the Atlanta office with over 35 years of experience and over $2.4 billion in national FHA originations under his leadership, Jeff is primarily responsible for the oversight of national production, underwriting and closing of FHA insured loans to provide best-in-class service to Newmark clients. Additional responsibilities include overall business strategy development and implementation to drive FHA platform growth.

Of Jeff's extensive career history in commercial mortgage banking and lending, the most recent 24 of those years focused almost exclusively on HUD-insured multifamily and healthcare lending. Jeff joined Newmark from Arbor Agency Finance, a subsidiary of Arbor Realty trust, where he worked as the Senior Vice President of FHA Sales, responsible for growing FHA platform originations nationally. Before that, Jeff served as Director of FHA Originations for Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital and Prudential Huntoon Paige (HUD/FHA subsidiary of PGIM) where he held various FHA leadership positions. He also previously held originations positions at Centennial Mortgage Inc., CW Capital and GE Capital.

Jeff has extensive HUD origination experience with multifamily market rate, affordable (LIHTC/subsidized), seniors and construction/rehab as well as Healthcare involving Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities and hospitals.

Jeff holds a Master of Business Administration degree in real estate and construction management from the University of Denver and Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Michigan.
