Jay Curran

Jay Curran joined Crescent Communities’ Multifamily team in 2013 and currently serves as President of Multifamily. Jay leads the Multifamily business in investing, developing and operating for-rent residential communities in the many of the nation’s fastest growing metropolitan areas. Crescent Communities’ portfolio consists of $4.34 billion in investments (over 20,000 units) completed, in operations or under construction. Crescent Communities was named the development firm of the year in 2019 by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Previously, Jay led the multifamily team for Crescent Communities as Senior Managing Director for the East Region, including Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and Georgia. He was also the Vice President of Multifamily for Georgia and Florida.

Prior to Crescent Communities, Jay served as Vice President of Development for Archstone, and led development of luxury multifamily communities throughout Texas and Florida. Jay’s experience in developing multifamily communities began while he was at Novare Group, where he managed the development of high-rise residential and hospitality projects in excess of $400 million. Prior to Novare, he served as a strategy consultant with The Boston Consulting Group.
