Jason Schrago

Jason Schrago serves as an executive managing director and market leader in Newmark's Central Florida office in Orlando, where he leads its tenant advisory services practice. In this capacity, Mr. Schrago oversees the development and execution of all real estate offerings for user-owned or leased locations. His responsibilities include new business development, real estate advisory and transactional needs as well as strategic real estate portfolio initiatives and economic incentive negotiations.

Over a real estate career that spans 27 years, Mr. Schrago has led and executed national real estate portfolios for financial services and technology based clients. Additional noteworthy accomplishments include several world and U.S. headquarters facilities that have included ground-up new builds, building expansions/connectors, build-to-suit purchases, build-to-suit leases, etc. He has also facilitated state and local municipality economic incentive negotiations that have generated more than $15 million in awards for many local corporate and regionally headquartered clients.

Mr. Schrago joined Newmark after serving as a founding principal for almost nine years with CNL Commercial Real Estate. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president for nearly 15 years with Trammell Crow Company. Upon joining Trammell Crow, his role included representing large institutional office and warehouse landlords with leasing, sales and asset advisory services. Earlier in his career, Mr. Schrago served as a research director for the Tampa Bay market with Grubb & Ellis, now a part of Newmark.

Mr. Schrago pivoted to tenant advisory after 10 years on the office landlord side and led the division in North/Central Florida at Trammell Crow. For the past 17 years, he has advised both office space clients and warehouse users on their transaction requirements in Utah, Ohio, Massachusetts, Montreal, Toronto, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, California, Texas, Illinois, Georgia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida, Alabama, Michigan and Wisconsin.
